Former New England Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh has confirmed that other teams have also been taping signals throughout the years, not just the Patriots.

“There was one time that I was filming and another team had set up their third video guy right next to me in our stadium,” Walsh said. “And when our team was on defense, I looked over at him, and he was angling his camera toward our sideline. I didn’t ask him about it, because I was doing the same thing he was. But after the game, I went and told (former defensive coordinator) Romeo Crennel, and there were a couple other defensive coaches standing around in his office at the time. I’m not sure who overheard it or not. But I told Romeo, ‘The next time we play this team, you may want to change your signals, because I think they’re doing to us what we do to them.’”

Other Teams cheat? REALLY!? Wow, theres a shocker. Why did anyone even waste time talking to Walsh? He hasn’t told us anything we didn’t already know.

“My frustration level? I’m at zero right now,” Palmer said. “I’m not frustrated at all. I’m happy and excited to be back on the field myself, whether they’re here or not. I’m excited to be back with these guys, the guys that are here.”

Of course Palmer is happy to get rid of that migraine named Chad Johnson. Maybe his current players will actually know when to shut their mouths and just play, that’s something Johnson will apparently never learn.

Falcons’ veteran wide receiver Joe Horn doesn’t like how the team plans to use him and would like an opportunity to play elsewhere.

“I want to win a Super Bowl and I want to win a Super Bowl here in Atlanta, but I don’t think I can help this team win a Super Bowl sitting on the bench, waiting for third down,” Horn said. “They’re going with the younger guys and I don’t have a problem with that, if that’s the course they’ve chosen.” “I want to have an opportunity to play with a team that needs a veteran to play and contribute and who helps the young guys.”

Trust me Joe, you’re not the only Falcon who would like to play for a better team. Unfortunately for you, you’re way past your prime and I doubt any Super Bowl contenders would be willing to make a trade for you.

If you hate playing in Atlanta so much maybe it’s time to call it a career.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is regarded as one of the best backs in the league today but he’s still playing off of his $7 million rookie contract he signed way back in July 2004. As one of the best in the league it’s no surprise he wants to be paid like one of the best.

“I think I’ve been a good person on and off the field,” Jackson said Saturday at Rams minicamp, “so I expect to be rewarded.”

Jackson deserves a new contract but there’s no way the Rams will show him the money until he proves he can stay healthy for an entire season. Everyone knows he has a ton of talent but he still hasn’t proved much on the field.

If he wants the big bucks, consistency is key.

We had like a stable full of running backs that are capable,” Rhodes said. “We went and drafted a guy that - he’s a great runner, don’t get me wrong - but I don’t understand the logic behind it.

“I don’t really think that (coach) Lane Kiffin wanted to take a running back in the first round, let’s just put it like that. He has to deal with it now, but I don’t think that’s what he wanted to do.”

I bet Kiffin didn’t want to select a RB that early either but guess what, it really doesn’t matter what he wants because Al Davis is the guy calling the shots. Oh and I’m sure you weren’t happy with the pick Dom, you’re unemployed because of it!

Keep quiet for awhile and maybe the Colts will take you back.

I understand he’ll help sell tickets and he could become a superstar in the league but so could Michael Bush! And what’s wrong with Justin Fargas? He’s a very solid back who can consistently put up respectful numbers as the starter.

As long as Al Davis is running the show in Oakland the Raiders will continue to be a pathetic franchise and an embarrassment to the entire National Football League.
