Rhodes Criticizes Former Team
Recently released running back Dominic Rhodes has decided to publically criticize his former team the Oakland Raiders on selecting Darren McFadden in last week’s NFL draft.
We had like a stable full of running backs that are capable,” Rhodes said. “We went and drafted a guy that – he’s a great runner, don’t get me wrong [...]

Raiders Release Dominic Rhodes
No surprise here, the Oakland Raiders have released running back Dominic Rhodes just two days after drafting Darren McFadden with the first overall pick in this past weekend’s NFL draft.
The Raiders obviously had no need for Rhodes when they still Justin Fargas, LaMont Jordan and Michael Bush but then again they also didn’t need McFadden.
I [...]

2008 NFL Mock Draft (Picks 1-5)
With the first pick in the 2008 NFL draft the Miami Dolphins select Offensive Tackle Jake Long from the University of Michigan. Bill Parcells knows it takes talent on the O-line to have an effective offense and Jake Long has the ability to make a difference like Joe Thomas did for the Browns last season.
(2) [...]

Falcons Trading Hall to Raiders?
A source close to the Falcons told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen that the Atlanta Falcons are nearing a deal to send cornerback DeAngelo Hall to the Raiders for a 2nd round draft pick.
The Raiders could use a great cornerback like Hall but if this deal goes through that will leave them with only 1 pick in [...]

Justin Fargas Out for Fantasy Superbowls
Huggy Bear Jr., Justin Fargas will miss the remainder of the season after spraining his MCL against the Colts.
Fargas has played great lately and he’s helped many fantasy football teams make it to the playoffs. Now owners lucky enough to make their leagues’ championship game will have to decide who to pick up off [...]

Monday Morning NFL Review — Week 14
Bills 38 > Dolphins 17
The dream of seeing a winless season is still alive! The pathetic Dolphins defense made Trent Edwards look like Tom Brady.
Bengals 19 > Rams 10
Cincinnati won as expected but with Brock Berlin starting at QB for the Rams this game shouldn’t have been this close. St. Louis has one of the [...]

Monday Morning NFL Review — Week 13
Colts 28 > Jaguars 25
I was wrong about this one, I thought the Jags would finally get a victory over the Colts but I guess I should’ve learned by now, never pick against Indianapolis unless there playing the Patriots.
With a healthy Dallas Clark the Jacksonville defense had a hard time slowing down Peyton Manning and [...]

Monday Morning NFL Review — Week 12
Bengals 35 > Titans 6
The Bengals dominated every phase of this game. Carson Palmer hooked up with Chad Johnson 3 times in the end zone and their defense was able to shut down the entire Tennessee offense.
Someone needs to remind Ocho Cinco that his team is 4-7. After one of his touchdowns he “entertained” the [...]

Top 5 & Bottom 5 NFL Teams after Week 11
Top 5
1: New England Patriots
No explanation needed.
2: Dallas Cowboys
Their offense looks very impressive. Opponents should start putting 3 defensive backs on Terrell Owens but maybe it still wouldn’t matter — So far he’s been uncoverable.
3: Green Bay Packers
I can’t wait for next Thursday (Nov. 29th) when the Packers face the Cowboys. The winner of that [...]
