Warren Sapp Hates Jon Gruden; Loves Tony Dungy

Retired Defensive tackle Warren Sapp gives all the credit to Tony Dungy, not their head coach Jon Gruden, for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Superbowl in 2002.

“I always say this: The damn cake was already in the oven,” Sapp said. “It was just a matter of when it came out. All Jon had to do was put the icing on it.”

Sapp is probably 100% right but Dungy could never win the big game until he had Peyton Manning, and even then it took him awhile.
