Vikings Trade Erasmus James To Redskins
The Minnesota Vikings have traded former first round draft pick, defensive end Erasmus James to the Washington Redskins for a conditional 2009 7th round draft pick.
We really liked Erasmus coming out of college,” executive vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato said. “He’s young and talented, and he has a great deal of potential. We like the fact that his defensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin–John Palermo–is our current defensive line coach.”
James was highly touted before the 2005 NFL draft and many thought he would quickly become a stud but due to injuries he has never lived up to his potential. It would be nice to see what he could do if 100% healthy for an entire season.
