Troy Brown Still Undecided On Future
Former New England Patriots great, wide receiver Troy Brown still hasn’t decided if he’ll retire or try to find a new team for the 2008 NFL season.
“I haven’t come to an answer to that question yet,” Brown told the Herald-Dispatch in Huntington, West Virginia, where he was working a football camp this week. “I’m not in a hurry to make any decisions. We’ll just see what happens in the next few weeks, months, whatever it takes to make up my mind.”
The 36 year old receiver knows if he does decide to retire, he’ll miss football like crazy.
“Miss it? Yeah, I would miss it if I had to give it up,” Brown said. “It’s one of those things you can’t avoid. You can’t outrun Father Time.”
Troy, it’s time to listen to your own words. Your right, you can’t outrun father time and your way past your prime. Call it quits while you’re still healthy.
If Brown pursued coaching I think he could be a great one someday.
