Titans Plan to Trade Pacman
ESPN is reporting that the Tennessee Titans will attempt to trade cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones if he is reinstated to the NFL.
In response to the report, the team has issued the following statement:
“We have had internal discussions and a meeting with Jones’ representatives since the season concluded,” the statement read. “Assuming he is reinstated at some point, which we have received no indication when or if that will occur, we face various decisions. At this point, no decisions have been reached, but in order to have the best information available to us, we did inform his representation that, at some point, we would investigate all of our options. We will not comment otherwise until the suspension has ended and we have reached conclusions about his future with the club.”
Of course they’ll try to trade him but I’d be stunned if any team gave more than a 4th round pick for him.
If he gets reinstated I’m sure it won’t take more than 3 months before he gets in trouble with the law again.
