Seahawks Sign Julius Jones
The Seattle Seahawks have signed former Dallas Cowboys running back Julius Jones to a four-year deal worth around $3 million a year.
Until the middle of last season a lot of people believed Jones was a better running back than former Cowboys teammate Marion Barber. In fact he was the starter in Dallas over Barber on several occasions.
This move likely means Seattle plans to release or trade Shaun Alexander sometime before or shortly after the draft.
Jones is a good receiver out of the backfield and he should fit well in the Seattle system.
