Rodney Harrison Loves Ty Law; Wishes Patriots Would Sign Him
With Ellis Hobbs and Terrence Wheatley scheduled to be the New England Patriots starting cornerbacks at the start of the NFL regular season, Rodney Harrison is hoping the team brings back free agent Ty Law.
“Hey, Ty knows how I feel about him,” Harrison said. “The respect and the love as a friend that I have for Ty, the respect as a football player, he knows that. If he’s here, great. If he’s not, we’ll play with the guys we have and that’s the focus. You don’t want to comment too much on someone that’s not here, but at same time, I mean, Ty Law is Ty Law.”
The Patriots are in trouble if they plan to use Wheatley as their starting cornerback and they should take Harrison’s advice and bring back Ty Law. Law is older and obviously not as good as he used to be but I guarantee he’s still better than Terrence Wheatley.
Unfortunately for Rodney Harrison I doubt Bill Belichick will pay Law the type of money he’s looking for. And I’m pretty sure Belichick won’t be happy that Harrison felt the need to express his love for Ty Law to the media.
