Rivers Has Successful Surgery
San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers had successful surgery to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on Wednesday.
Rivers’ rehab is expected to last six months and he should be ready to go when the Chargers open up training camp, but how effective will he be next season?
Hopefully he’ll be 100% healed because opponents will definitely blitz him like crazy to see if he’s capable of avoiding the pass rush and if he’s not Rivers will risk re-injuring his fragile knee.
