Horn Wants Out of Atlanta

Falcons’ veteran wide receiver Joe Horn doesn’t like how the team plans to use him and would like an opportunity to play elsewhere.

“I want to win a Super Bowl and I want to win a Super Bowl here in Atlanta, but I don’t think I can help this team win a Super Bowl sitting on the bench, waiting for third down,” Horn said. “They’re going with the younger guys and I don’t have a problem with that, if that’s the course they’ve chosen.” “I want to have an opportunity to play with a team that needs a veteran to play and contribute and who helps the young guys.”

Trust me Joe, you’re not the only Falcon who would like to play for a better team. Unfortunately for you, you’re way past your prime and I doubt any Super Bowl contenders would be willing to make a trade for you.

If you hate playing in Atlanta so much maybe it’s time to call it a career.
