Hackett Signs with Panthers
Former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.J. Hackett has signed a 2 year, $3.5 million contract with the Carolina Panthers.
“We now feel like we should have a very competitive atmosphere at the receiver position,” general manager Marty Hurney said. “We feel like we have improved the talent level.”
Carolina should still try to find another quality receiver because Hackett would be best suited as a third option.
Maybe last years 2nd round draft pick Dwayne Jarrett will step up but so far his short career he has been nothing but a disappointment.
