Dunn Expects Big Role in Tampa
After returning to his former team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers everybody expected 33 year old Warrick Dunn to have a minor role with the team but he has other plans.
“I would never consider myself a third-down back,” Dunn said, according to the Tampa Tribune. “It’s not my mentality. I don’t play the game that way. I don’t think Coach Jon Gruden brought me here just to play on third down. He believes in me, and I just have to go out and prove it.”
And unfortunately for Buccaneer fans, Gruden agrees.
“I see him as being a front-line guy. He is going to play a lot,” Gruden said.
If Dunn sees more than 10 touches a game the Bucs will be in big trouble. He’s to old and they currently have much better running backs on the roster.
