Dolphins Trying to Trade #1 Draft Pick
The Miami Dolphins are desperately trying to trade their #1 overall pick in the 2008 draft.
“We’re open for business,” Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland said “Rome wasn’t built in a day, and this won’t be built in a day either.”
“The No. 1 pick is no different from the 22nd pick. You’ve got to make the right selection. You just can’t miss on it. We’re going to do everything in our power to make the right choices, whether it be to take the pick or move down. We’ll listen to all offers.”
Most teams with the number 1 pick try to trade it away but the problem is no other team will be willing to give fair value for it. If Miami can find a trading partner then it would definitely be a great move for them but I’m 95% sure they’ll end up keeping the pick.
