Dolphins Cut Zach Thomas
The Miami Dolphins have released 7-time Pro Bowl linebacker Zach Thomas.
“I have a tremendous appreciation and admiration not only for the Dolphins organization, but for the fans as well, for all of the support that they have given me,” Thomas said in a statement.
“I am healthy and look forward to playing in 2008, but will always consider myself a Miami Dolphin.”
A lot of teams will be interested in signing Thomas but one team in particular may be the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick loves smart veteran linebackers and Zach Thomas definitely fits that description.
