Cowboys Extend Barber & Newman
The Dallas Cowboys must’ve felt like spending some money on Tuesday when they agreed to extend the contracts of both running back Marion Barber and cornerback Terence Newman.
Barber received a $45 million, seven-year contract that includes $16 million in guaranteed bonuses and Newman received a six-year extension worth more than $50 million, with a $12 million signing bonus and $22.5 million guaranteed.
Dallas fans are happy these deals got done, Barber is a great running back and should see around 25 carries a game in 2008.
