Bucs Give Up on Plummer
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden is finally accepting the fact that even though quarterback Jake Plummer is under contract with the team, he’s staying retired.
“He’s retired,” Gruden said of Plummer. “We tried. That’s all I can say. I think still he’s one of the top quarterbacks on the planet, personally. I think his performance; his won-loss record speaks for itself. We traded a seventh-round draft choice basically for Jake Plummer and unfortunately he’s decided to stay retired.”
Jake Plummer is one of the best QB’s on the planet? What has Gruden been smoking?
