49ers Sign Bryant Johnson
The San Francisco 49ers signed former Cardinals first round draft pick, receiver Bryant Johnson.
“Bryant is a young, talented player,” 49ers general manager Scot McCloughan said. “He brings big-play capabilities to the offense, and we feel he will bring in an added dimension to the talent we already have on board.”
For the past few years Johnson has played behind Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin but make no mistake about it, this guy can play.
This was a great move by the 49ers and I’m surprised there weren’t more teams after him. Expect Johnson to start for San Francisco and lead the team in receptions this season.

Hopefully it will pan out for the 9ers!
it looks like they have a merry go round on offense in the Bay area… they sign everyone’s WR rejects i.e. Ashley Lelie, Darrell Jackson( always injured and getting old), drafted Jason Hill ( couldnt crack the lineup) and they had somehting like 4 offensive coordinators in as many seasons… no wonder Alex Smith isnt where he should be at this point in his career.
I think they get t right this time though with Bryant Johnson… i hear rumours that they are targeting WR James Hardy IU- agian a WR what da f?
they need O-line
