Vince Wilfork Fined $12,500

Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork has been fined $12,500 by the NFL for this hit on Buffalo Bills quarterback J.P. Losman:

“We have people blowing this thing out of proportion, talking about how dirty I am,” Wilfork said. “Don’t bash my name because of one incident.”

Losman suffered a sprained ligament from the hit and is expected to be out about two weeks.

In this case I think the penalty fits the crime but many Bills fans would disagree.
