Top 5 & Bottom 5 NFL Teams after Week 6
1: New England Patriots
After dominating the Cowboys does anyone disagree? (Cue the chirping crickets)
2: Indianapolis Colts
Some people actually think the Colts are better then they were last year. We’ll have a good indication after the upcoming Monday night game against Jacksonville. Indianapolis usually struggles against the Jags so this game is must see TV.
3: Pittsburgh Steelers
Due to the dominance of the Patriots and Colts, Pittsburgh doesn’t get talked about much. But the Steelers are dangerous and could give any team fits, including New England – if Willie Parker can stay fresh.
4: Dallas Cowboys
If they can keep their composure after that embarrassing loss, the Cowboys should have no problem winning the NFC title. Lucky for them, they won’t face the Patriots again unless they reach the Super Bowl.
5: Green Bay Packers
Still no luck finding a running game but the great Packers defense will keep them in every game they play.
Bottom 5
28: Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are a complete mess right now. So much talent on offense yet they had a hard time scoring against the Chiefs? Their defense never seems to improve but at least their consistent. Marvin Lewis may be on the hot seat.
29: Atlanta Falcons
Somebody needs to get some stick-em for the Falcons receivers.
30: New York Jets
Chad Pennington is great when he only has to throw the ball 5 yards. Any further than that and the Jets are screwed.
31: St. Louis Rams
Marc Bulger is back! Unfortunately he hasn’t learned how to play defense and his offensive line will get him killed.
32: Miami Dolphins
They host the Patriots Sunday and a mercy rule may come into effect.
