Top 5 & Bottom 5 NFL Teams after Week 5
1: New England Patriots
We’ll find out if the Patriots are the real deal Sunday when they play the Cowboys.
2: Indianapolis Colts
Even without Joseph Addai and Marvin Harrison the Colts had no problem beating the Bucs, that’s scary.
3: Dallas Cowboys
The Monday night game verses the Bills proved the Cowboys still have a lot of unanswered questions. Can Romo play mistake free football in a huge game? I guess we’ll find out Sunday.
4: Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are the only team in the AFC capable of competing with the Colts and Patriots.
5: Green Bay Packers
A horrible running game is the only thing that will keep Brett Favre and the Packers from playing in the NFC title game.
Bottom 5
28: New York Jets
Kellen Clemens will soon take over for the weak armed Chad Pennington but don’t expect it to make a big difference; the Jets will continue to lose either way.
29: Atlanta Falcons
Why is Warrick Dunn still getting the majority of carries? Jerious Norwood is a talented runner who only lacks experience and since the Falcons are horrible, hand him the ball so he can learn and prepare for a breakout season next year. What’s there to lose?
30: New Orleans Saints
Is it safe to say Reggie Bush is overrated and The Chargers made the right move by letting Drew Brees get away? Maybe not yet, but this team is awful.
31: St. Louis Rams
Wow, I’m still amazed at how pathetic their defense is.
32: Miami Dolphins
With Trent Green out indefinitely, Cleo Lemon takes over as the starter. Maybe they should just forfeit…
