Top 10 Fantasy Football Wide Receivers
Here is NFLGuru.net’s Top 10 Fantasy Wide Receivers for 2007 based on Standard Redraft league rules.
1: Steve Smith, Panthers - Smith is a threat to score from anywhere on the field and the Panthers offense is built around him. He may not end up with the most receptions but he will end up with more yards than any other WR in the NFL.
2: Chad Johnson, Bengals - I expect Ocho Cinco to put up the best numbers of his career this season. He has great rapport with his QB Carson Palmer and their football relationship has continues to grow.
3: Torry Holt, Rams - Holt is by far the safest fantasy wide receiver this year. He’s on a great team and has a great relationship with his great QB Marc Bulger (who just signed a long-term deal).
4: Reggie Wayne, Colts - This will finally be the year when Wayne becomes Peyton Manning’s #1 WR. Harrison will begin to show his age while Wayne is in the prime of his career.
5: Marvin Harrison, Colts — As I said above Harrison is old, but don’t let that fool you. Even though I don’t expect him to put up double digit touchdown receptions he will still have 90+ reception and at least 1200 yards.
The Best of the Rest:
6: Terrell Owens, Cowboys
7: Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals
8: Roy Williams, Lions
9: Javon Walker, Broncos
10: Marques Colston, Saints
