Top 10 Fantasy Football Tight Ends
You don’t need a great Tight End to win your fantasy league…but it doesn’t hurt.
Here is NFLGuru.net’s Top 10 Fantasy Tight Ends.
1: Antonio Gates, Chargers – Here’s a No Brainer.
2: Jeremy Shockey, Giants – Shockey is just entering the prime of his career, He’s Eli Manning’s best weapon and without Tiki Barber expect Shockey to get a lot more footballs thrown his way.
3: Tony Gonzalez, Chiefs – Gonzalez is a great tight end but he will continue to see double and sometimes triple coverage this season because the Chiefs still don’t have another receiving threat. Trent Green is gone and that will hurt Gonzalez as well.
4: Vernon Davis, 49ers – Davis is to strong for cornerbacks and way to fast for linebackers, so how do you cover him? Opposing defenses will be struggling to answer that question for many years to come.
5: Todd Heap, Ravens – Heap is one of the best tight ends in the league but rarely hits the highlight reel. The Ravens hope it stays that way while he quietly puts up another 70+ receptions and over 700 yards.
The Best of the Rest:
6: Alge Crumpler, Falcons
7: Kellen Winslow, Browns
8: Chris Cooley, Redskins
9: L.J. Smith, Eagles
10: Jason Witten, Cowboys
