Steven Jackson Out with Groin Tear
St. Louis Rams star running back Steven Jackson will miss atleast 1 week after suffering a partial groin tear in the Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“A partial tear is the best way of describing it,” said Rams head coach Scott Linehan. “What (Dr.) Matt Matava told me, if there is such a thing of good news on something like this, it was much closer to the end of the groin as opposed to the middle which is longer. Im not a doctor. I guess that means there is less time out. I just know he is out for this game.”
This is a devastating loss for the Rams and as a fantasy football owner I hope he’s misses only 1 week but I have a feeling he’ll be out longer. Be sure to pick up his backup, Brian Leonard in all leagues and don’t be afraid to start him if you have too.
