Reinstatement for Thurman Denied

Earlier in the week is seemed like Cincinnati Bengals middle linebacker Odell Thurman would be reinstated by the NFL. But Commissioner Roger Goodell has decided to deny Thurman’s petition for reinstatement.

“I thought he was going to be reinstated, and if that’s the direction the league is going to take, that’s pretty hard-core,” said defensive end Justin Smith.

This is Bad news for the Bengals who really need a dominate linebacker. Thurman will be allowed to petition for reinstatement again after this season.
