Redskins Sign Keenan McCardell
Veteran wide receiver Keenan McCardell has signed with the Washington Redskins who desperately need another WR to compliment Santana Moss.
“Retirement didn’t cross my mind,” McCardell said. “More like ‘Get out of the house.’ My wife kind of pushed me out of the house. I’m just happy to be back. I just want to come in and add some leadership and make some plays.”
At 37 years old McCardell cannot be expected to contribute on every down but he’s still capable of making a nice catch every now and then.
Santana Moss is sufferring a groin injury and if he misses any games, the Skins’ will need McCardell to bring his A game.
