Redding Is A Rich Man

The Detroit Lions have made defensive tackle Cory Redding the highest-paid defensive tackle in the NFL. Sources say the contract is worth close to $49 Million for 7 years.

$16 million in guarantees is also included in the contract plus a $13 Million signing bonus.

Unlike Asante Samuel and Lance Briggs — the Lions and Redding were able to make a deal before Monday’s 4PM deadline for any franchise player to sign a long term deal.
