Raiders cut Anderson
The once promising tight end Courtney Anderson was released by the Oakland Raiders following a disappointing 2006 season.
Anderson played good in a his earlier seasons but never seemed to develop, partly due to being on a horrible Raiders team with a bad QB.
The Raiders selected tight end Zach Miller in the 2nd round of this years NFL Draft and he will step in as the starter right away.
Some team will end up signing Anderson and they may get a hidden gem. He has the talent and great size — who knows what he could do on a good team.
