Priest Holmes’ Career May Be Over

Kansas City Chiefs running back Priest Holmes may be forced to call it a career after he re-injured his neck during Sunday’s 13-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
“Priest got dinged in the game in Indianapolis. We’re evaluating him, and we’ll see where it’s at tomorrow,” Head Coach Herm Edwards said.
According to ESPN, Holmes has spent the past few days counseling with family members and friends and speaking with medical experts.
Neck injuries need to be taken very seriously so I think it’s time for him to retire. He’s had a great career and he was a joy to watch during his prime.
Thanks for the memories, Holmes.
