Packers looking to add a Big Name
George Koonce, Former Green Bay Packers director of player development (he recently resigned to accept a job with Marquette University) has said don’t be shocked if the Packers add a big name player soon.
“The off-season’s not over with quite yet, so don’t be surprised if … a big name (comes) in before training camp.” Koonce told WSSP Radio.
I have heard the Packers are interested in possibly signing Corey Dillon, or trading for the Chargers back up RB Michael Turner. Some rumors indicate they may even try to go after Chiefs Running Back Larry Johnson–I don’t see that happening.
