No Surgery Needed for Adrian Peterson
The Minnesota Vikings received some great news, running back Adrian Peterson will not need surgery and is only expected to miss a couple games after tearing a ligament in his right knee during Sunday’s contest against Green Bay.
“That pain was horrible. I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced pain where you don’t want anybody to touch you. Just be still for a few minutes until it calms down. That’s the kind of pain it was,” Peterson said. “Not really knowing what to expect because it was my knee. I was just praying, ‘God please, don’t let it be anything serious.”
“I was very relieved. It could’ve been a lot worse,” Peterson continued to say. “I just thank God. I’ll be back soon.”
He should be back just in time for the fantasy football playoffs which is great news if you happen to have him. (Which I do
