Monday Morning NFL Review — Week 17
Jets 13 > Chiefs 10
For the last few weeks I’ve been wondering who would win this battle of crappy teams and yesterday I learned the Chiefs suck just a little more than the Jets. I don’t see how either team can be comfortable going into next season with their current quarterback situation — Croyle and Clemens are equally horrible.
Packers 34 > Lions 13
The Packers rested several of their starters but they still managed to dominate the Detroit Lions. This game proved how pathetic Jon Kitna and the rest of the Lions are. I wonder what happened to that 10 win guarantee???
Broncos 22 > Vikings 19
If the Vikings can find a decent quarterback this off-season they will be a difficult team for anyone to beat next season. They have such a great running game and a great defense all they need is a smart QB who won’t make stupid mistakes.
Redskins 27 > Cowboys 6
With this win the Redskins clinched a playoff birth and will face the Seattle Seahawks this Saturday. Todd Collins has been very impressive since taking over for Jason Cambpell and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Skins managed to upset Seattle.
Titans 16 > Colts 10
For the first time since 2003 the Tennessee Titans are in the playoffs. Unfortunately, I’m expecting them to lose right away. They’ll face the Chargers next week ,and when these two teams met during the regular season, San Diego won in overtime 23-17. This time around the game will be played in San Diego and Norv Turner has his team playing their best football of the season.
Finally the Playoffs are here!
