McAllister’s Career in Jeopardy
New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister will miss the entire season after tearing his left ACL in Monday nights loss to the Tennessee Titans.
“I just told myself to get up off the ground. One lesson I learned growing up was to never let your opponent see you hurt. Regardless of what it is, if you can walk, walk off that field,” said the 28-year-old McAllister, the Saints’ all-time leading rusher. “Once I got to the sideline, I knew it. I didn’t want to believe it, but just taking the walk to the locker room I could feel it just kind of giving way a little bit and that was just kind of reminiscent of how the other one felt.”
McAllister tore his right ACL in 2005 and has been injury prone his entire NFL career.
With this injury its reasonable to think we may never see Duece (28 years old) play in the NFL again and if we do, he’ll never be an elite RB again.
Now it’s Reggie Bush’s time to shine, he’s been hyped up more than any other football player since dog killer Vick — Lets see if he deserved it.
