   Disappointed in the PS3 version of Madden. I had last yrs version on PS2. I didn’t expect PS3 to take out alot from the previous game, features like (create playbook, mini camp, no global subs) I feel that with so much power on the PS3, why take out all those things. Also the gameplay seems more like ESPN or 2k football then Madden. Very disappointed and I want my $$ back. This is from a person who’s been playing madden since sega genesis. Let me know your thoughts on the game - thanks

   Ps3 version sucks. Why is it when you try to change the controller layout you lose the preplay menus on offense and defense? why no custom hot routes and playbooks? Why are the ratings for the teams different on PS2 vs PS3? EA needs to reevaluate this

   I like it better than last years i took it back and got the ps2 version and used it on my ps3.I hate the vision cone and why the hell is the xbox version faster and better lookn why have a ps3 if your not going to use its power thinkin about gettn a 360 core system and im a total sony man but im pissed.

   So there are no created playbooks on PS3?

   Madden on the PS3 is terrible. From the changing of the controls to the labeling of the players in this year’s version is a smack in the face to the supporters and players of this long standing gaming title. You mean to tell me that now, we have resulted into telling a player who’s who on their team? That is the weakest thing I’ve ever seen.

   Online the game play is delayed. It takes about a second to hike the ball, even after clearly pressing the X button.

   The iconed defensive players are over hyped and they burst through the line of scrimmage with little or no input from the gamer.

   The Ring Builder feature is meaningless.

   Game play controls are awkward and frustrating.

   As my name stated, I’m ticked off…

   Not only with this game, but several other titles that I have on the PS3.

   The MLB 07 the Show series ought to be sued. If you can manage to play through a “traffic delaying” “cheating filled” game and somehow win….. Then you are a very special person.

   Gosh I feel like a fool for buying this console so soon.

   I agree, I am going back to Madden 2007 on the PS2. As mentioned above, the delay in slow Frame rates is very frustrating. And the lack of ability to change hot routes and global subs takes so much out of the game play. The vision cone is not as smooth as prior years and does not work well at all. Defensive linemen bust through the line way too often and easily while the O-line or backs just stand around.

   Fumbles occur way way too often, I had 5 fumbles in one game and 3 were by my starting back. I’m afraid there’s going to be a fumble every time my players get tackled.

   Another thing missing is the ability to change uniforms midyear during a franchise.. whats that about? And after creating a custom team, 3 players have the same jersey numbers, even when playing them, the game allows for multiple players to all have the same jersey number. Petty but the details are what makes a game a good game.

   Disappointing…

   i want my money back too, how’s Madden 08 on the PS2?

   Totally agree, funbles are crazy, O-line lets any player through too easily.

   Only had it two weeks and I want to bring it back

   Latest stat lines:

   Adrian Peterson 170 yards rushing 1 TD 5 Fumbles (4 in the 1st quarter, 2 inside the 10!!!)

   Rest of team 9 turnovers 7 sacks allowed

   Next game

   Adrian Peterson 103 Yards 1 TD 3 Fumbles

   Rest of Team 9 int (3 by defensive ends and 2 by LBS) and 12 sacks allowed

   The real joy of this is you cannot even make this believable in your head. I go undeafeted for 3 straight years in All-Pro so I take the Madden challenge. I have the controls down and am ready to roll. Only problem is is that it is soo unrealistic. They can sack you at will and when they decide not to blitz, they intercept or deflect 50% of the passes. Its amazing that LBS and Defensive Ends can cover Antonio Gates and even Devin Hester, I mean come on. I particulary love it how Larry Triplett can sprint down Adrian Peterson, cause we all know the speed is so comparable. The times a ball has gone through my player is amazing. There is no such thing as play action in Madden, they pick it up every time, not even ATTEMPTING to tackle the RB.

   I have been playing Madden for 12 years and am sorry to say this is my last year. I am actually taking this game to game exchange, regardless of how much they will give me and purchasing a new game. I cannot even recoup half my money. This game is the absolute worst I have ever played. From running out of players in my first franchise year 4 to having the turnover differential on team stats not add up correctly to inverting the sacks and interceptions on the team rankings. This game stinks of corporate greed and a less than negative concern for quality. I think they should give everyone a refund. I dont have X-Box live, so I cannot get half the correction threads, why should I have to, I paid for the COMPLETE game, if I didnt, give me my money back. So now I have to take my XBox to a friends house to download the patch, that is just complete bullshit. EA Sports, comepltely pathetic. Madden, I hope you know that your name is becoming synonimous with trash. Utter trash.

   I have a question? If you are in Franchise Mode and one of the computer Teams has only one player on the roster…how do you proceed with the franchise? I am literally stuck right now… ? What do i do, I don’t want to start a new franchise
