L.J. Smith Plans to Play in Opener
Philadelphia Eagles tight end L.J. Smith has had a hard time recovering from a sports hernia but he still plans to play in the season opener against the Green Bay Packers on September 9th.
“It’s very important to start off strong,” Smith said. “That’s a goal for me, to go out there and be able to do everything and not be limited and have a great year and help the team win.”
Smith has fallen far in many fantasy football drafts but if you can pick him up in the 14th round as your backup tight end don’t hesitate for a second, draft him.
He has become a huge sleeper tight end.
