Leinart Hates Sharing with Warner

matt-leinart.jpgArizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart does not like sharing playing time with former MVP Kurt Warner.

“I’d be lying if I said I was happy with the way things are going. I just want them to ride or die with me.” Leinart told Yahoo! Sports. “If I’m the franchise quarterback, play me and let me stumble, because I’ll fight through it, and that will help me and our team in the long run. I know coaches want to win now, and I guess they have their reasons. But I don’t understand it, and this switching back and forth is almost worse than getting benched.”

Leinart’s frustrations are understandable, he’s always been the beloved star quarterback and isn’t used to looking over his shoulder. But there’s a simple solution to all of his frustrations. If he wants to be “THE MAN” all he has to do is play better.

The reason Warner has been seeing more playing time is because the Cardinals offense has been playing a lot better with him in the lineup. The players seem to get a spark when they see him under center and he distributes the ball to all the receivers not just Boldin and Fitzgerald.
