Larry Johnson Might Hold Out
Jason Whitlock of the Kansas City Star has reported star running back Larry Johnson is preparing to hold out the entire 2007 Season if he doesn’t get a new contract before training camp.
Johnson is due $1.7 Million this season. Compare that to the $14 Million Frank Gore just received from the 49ers and you can understand why he may hold out.
Larry Johnson is in the prime of his career but he will turn 28 years old in November. That’s getting old for a punishing Runner who carries the ball over 25 times a game.
