Larry Johnson Gets His Money
Larry Johnson has ended his holdout after the Kansas City Chiefs finally showed him the money. The deal will run through 2012 and includes $19 million guaranteed with a $12 million signing bonus.
“We met privately,” Chiefs president and general manager Carl Peterson said. “I could see that he very, very much wanted to get on the field. He explained that to me, that he wanted to be out here with his teammates. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a guy sign his contract that fast. But he wanted to get out here today and get going.”
This makes Larry Johnson a very safe Fantasy pick; He’ll see plenty of carries, rack up a lot of yards and score double-digit Touchdowns. However I would still take Frank Gore over him in leagues rewarding points per receptions — Huard nor Croyle impress me.
