Edge Ready to Work Harder

Arizona Cardinals running back Edgerrin James is ready for more preseason work.

“If Coach (Whisenhunt) wants me to go out there and get five, six carries, I’m not going to say no”, James said. If they want me to do it just to save face, so there’s no complaining, I’ll do it.”

New Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt and new assistant Head Coach Russ Grim have to give James 300 carries this season.

Even with the new coaches I don’t see Edge (more importantly the offensive line) improving much this season. I still think the Cardinals will have to throw the ball if they want any chance at a victory.
