Darius signs with Raiders
The Oakland Raiders have signed safety Donovin Darius. The former Jaguars first round pick reportedly signed a three-year deal worth $7.1 million.
We are extremely excited about adding Donovin to the Raiders,β said Raiders Head Coach Lane Kiffin. βHe will bring us strong competition and he gives us added flexibility in our secondary. Donovin exemplifies hard work and dedication to the game. Working with Donovin at Jacksonville, I was able to see what a phenomenal competitor he is. He will fit great into our team philosophy.β
Even though he is past his prime, Darius is still a great player. The Raiders have a very underrated defense — Sadly they still have a horrible offense.
