Brian Finneran will miss 2nd straight Season

A serious injury will keep Falcons Wide Receiver Brian Finneran off the field for a second straight season.

“He had a lot of differing [medical] opinions and decided last week to go in and get the reconstruction surgery,” Head Coach Bobby Petrino said. “It’s a 9-to 12-month recovery period, and unfortunately that means he’s out for the season.”

Remember all the hype that surrounded this guy a couple years ago? The Severe Injuries Finneran keeps suffering means we will probably never get the chance to see if all that hype was warranted. He is 31 years old and time is running out.
